Huge success of a television series that was previously run on Nickelodeon encouraged the writers and producers enough to produce its spin-off. We are talking about Avatar The Last Airbender series that enthralled countless youngsters when aired between 2005 to the year 2008. The producers and the writers of this widely viewed animated series were none others than Michael Dante DiMartino the famous American animation director and Bryan Konietzko. Bryan played the role of co-creator and the executive producer and the duo is all set to produce yet another action filled mini series. There would be at least 26 episode of The Last Airbender: The Legend of Korra series, scheduled for airing on the same channel i.e. Nickelodeon in the mid of next year.

The focus of the upcoming series will however remain on the same fictional and kind of fantasy universe as it was kept in the original show. The famous characters lived in and belonged to societies derived from cultures such as Inuit, East Asian and also Indian, possessing multitude of ethnic elements. Characters of Avatar The Last Airbender series possessed amazing bending ability that was awesomely psychokinetic to watch. The characters used this particular ability for controlling and manipulating the forces of air, fire, earth and water etc.

Korra, the main role played by Janet Varney will sure attract the youngster since she will show them whether how to utilize three more unique elements she has mastered. These unique powers enable Korra to survive in a new challenging revolution known as anti-bender and the kids would love to watch new adventures. Korra actually replaces the previous Aang character and the quarrelsome teen belongs to the Tribe of Southern Water in the movie.
