4. Maintenance – Due to the fact that diesel generators do not have spark plugs or wires, they require less maintenance than gas.  Maintaining your diesel powered generator is less work, and will pay off in the long run because of how much usage one can endure.

So when you stack up a gas pwoered generator and compare it head to head with diesel, they fall short.  People tend to buy gas mostly because they are more popular, and come with a lower price tag.  However, with a generator, the old saying “you get what you pay for” could not be more true.
