HCG Diet Plan Recipes Made Right

The task of staying within a 500-calorie diet is indeed a challenging one. For a person who is accustomed to consuming thousands of calories per day, shifting down to 500 calories can seem like a torture. However, there are numerous recipes that are made especially for the Phase 2 of the HCG Diet Plan which lets the dieter eat delicious dishes without packing on the calories. Here are a few examples of those recipes.

Grilled Rosemary Steak with Grilled Asparagus

Ingrediets: 100 grams lean steak, rosemary, crushed garlic, onion powder, 2 tablespoons vinaigrette, asparagus, Melba toast and salt and pepper to taste

Procedures: In a ziplock bag, place steak, rosemary, crushed garlic, onion powder, vinaigrette and add salt and pepper to taste. Marinate for at least an hour to let the flavors incorporate in the meat. Grill in a stove top grill or over fire together with asparagus. Coat the asparagus with the left over marinade for flavoring.

Citrush Fish Fillet

Ingredients: 100 white fish (tilapia or orange roughy) sliced into fillets, minced onion and garlic, 1 tablespoon paprika, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, lemon slices, 1 pack Stevia or sugar substitute, chopped parsley and salt and pepper to taste

Procedure: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a separate pan, mix onion, garlic, paprika, Stevia and lemon juice. Coat fish with mixture and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place lemon slices and wrap dish in aluminum foil before placing in the oven. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees until the fish is thoroughly cooked. Serve with chopped parsley on top.

There are a lot more free recipes on the internet that are made especially for the HCG Diet. It does not take a professional chef to cook these recipes. All it needs is creativity and resourcefulness. One should not be afraid to experiment with the dishes eaten during the phase 2 of the diet, as long as he carefully counts the calories on every meal.
