There is a definite shift that’s happening in the world of cell phone. This shift is not a bad thing, in fact, it’s a very good thing. What we are seeing is a move from low end and somewhat undesirable prepaid phones to really nice Android phones. Sure, the contract plans still have the best android phones, but that’s because they subsidize the phones with discounts in order to encourage people to sign up. The Net10 Android phones are an interesting move because it was not too long ago that all prepaid phones were pretty, let’s just say it here, crappy! But now you can get hot phones from all kinds of prepaid companies like Virgin, MetroPCS, and Straight Talk TracFone.
Net10 Android Phones
The two Net10 Android phones that were released are the LG Optimus Net and the LG Optimus Q. Both phones are not exactly new comers to the prepaid game, but they are the first Net10 Androids that can run on pretty much any of the Net10 prepaid plans. If you need an unlimited plan, for about $50 per month, you can have one from Net 10. But you should also see if you can get a better unlimited deal from another company like Boost Mobile (which actually right now costs the same for the unlimited prepaid plan). The Net10 LG Optimus Q Android is probably the phone I would choose because I like the styling just a bit more than on the LG Optimus Net. It’s just preference, but you should choose for yourself.
Where to Get Net10 Android Phones
The best place to get these phones is online at the official Net10 website, but you should also keep your eyes peeled for deals at stores like WalMart and Best Buy. You never know where or when these phones may pop up at a very good deal. You just have to be aware of any deals going on. A great place to start is at the official website.
The Competition
Other brands to look at are TracFone, Straight Talk, Virgin Mobile, and MetroPCS. Take a good hard look at all the available phones and then make your decision on a Net 10 Android phone if you still want one.
